I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. With Christmas fast approaching I thought I would do a quick Gift Guide post to give you some inspiration for presents this festive season:

Dublin Fashion Festival 2013

Hey Everyone,

this month saw the return of Dublin's Fashion Festival. With lots of fashion and beauty goings on there was so much to see and do around the city!

Events included Luas Fashion Show, DFF Street Fashion Shows, Stylathon, Samsung Young Designer Event and many more. One event we were delighted to be included in was Irish Designers CREATE in Brown Thomas which is running from 27th August till 27th September. Create is a exhibition of Irish designers creations. It is still ongoing so if you haven't had a chance to visit yet, its a great opportunity to see the amazing work.

The Irish Independent

Hey Everyone, 

With the exciting launch of Brown Thomas’ month long CREATE event last night (more information to come) we were so thrilled to be featured in the independent twice this week. 

On Sunday we were listed as one of the Irish designers to be featured in this amazing event.

 Then yesterday added to our excitement even more when we saw the lovely article by BAIRBRE POWER, also in the Independent. She wrote such a lovely piece on myself and Willow&Clo I can’t thank Bairbre enough for her kind words. If you want to see the full article you can do online here:

Behind The Scene's Of Willow&Clo Photoshoot

Hey Everyone, 

On Saturday 11th August (2013) we packed up our jewellery and headed out to Donabate for a day long photoshoot with amazing photographer Ivan Cummins.

Thankfully the sun was shining and the rain stayed away long enough for us to get the shots we needed. We had three beautiful models, a great wardrobe including a fabulous backless dress from Dawn Fitzgerald, and the perfect locations.

Coldlilies AW13 Collection Press Preview

Hey Everyone,

In July Coldlilies held their AW13 Press Preview event at the South Studio's in Dublin 8, and I went along. It was a lovely evening with some amazing designers and of course it was great to finally meet the Coldlilies team. 

 On the night there was pieces from designers such as Úna Burke, Loulou Grenelle's, Kat & Bee's, Muireann Walshe's, as well as Melissa Curry, Anna Byers, Daniela Cardillo, Tatty Devine, Chupi Sweetman-Pell, and Christina Belle. 

I thought the event was a definite success... the jewellery was beautiful, it was lovely to chat to Kim & Ciara, and I really loved the video showing Coldlilies pieces being modelled which was projected on the wall! There was even an instagram competition, my picture (below) was of a few of Anna Byers pieces as I love her edgy, geometric style.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, some extra exciting news is that I will soon be available on Coldlilies!

Social&Personal Grey Goose Summer Cocktail Party

Hey Everyone,

on Tuesday evening we went along to The Marker Hotel for Social & Personal's Grey Goose Summer Cocktail Party. We had a fabulous evening being greeted by some very yummy cocktails and chatting to some friendly faces. It was a lovely evening helped of course by the amazing weather we've been having recently. Social & Personal could not have picked a better spot, The Rooftop Bar was incredible with amazing views of Dublin. It was the perfect place for their summer cocktail party.

The Colours Of The Rainbow Tag

Hey Everyone,

the “Colours of the Rainbow Tag” has been an extremely popular tag with bloggers everywhere over the past few months, so we thought we would get involved but put our own Willow&Clo twist on it:

Red = Willow Leaf Cluster and Ruby Earrings:

These Gold Plated Willow leaves create movement, and the ruby stone adds glamour.

Our substitute for orange is gold… This ring is my personal favourite, and is the first piece made from any of the lines.

Styling a Little Black Dress

Hey Everyone,

We all love a Little Black Dress they are the most versatile piece of fashion a girl can own! Whether its a date, a night out, or a outfit for a special party there are loads of ways you can accessorize an LBD, so I thought I'd show you three ways today:

Warehouse Dress/ Willow&Clo Lotus Collection:

This Warehouse Dress is probably the most classic LBD of the three looks,  but the lace selves really modernize this cute dress. I have teamed it with our Lotus Collection because it suits the look of the dress, also I think the gold really brightens up the black and the long wrap necklace would look amazing with the V-Neck created by this dress. 

French Connection Dress/ Willow&Clo Raindrop Collection:

BodyCon Dresses are still really on trend, I think this dress would look amazing with the pop of colour from the Green Chrsoprase in these Raindrop Earrings and wrap dress Necklace. Also because the dress is tight fitting the earrings and necklace add movement to the outfit! 

Oasis Dress/ Willow&Clo Puddle Collection:

This Oasis Dress is really cute and girly and the perfect outfit for a prom or teamed with a Champagne Blazer for a beautiful wedding guest outfit! I teamed this with some beautiful onyx pieces from the Puddle collection which I think just complement it beautifully!

Styling Our New "Etna" Collection

Hey Everyone, 

today I thought I would share with you how I would style my new "Etna" Collection. 

I have made three mood boards, each is a different look appropriate for summer. 

I hope you enjoy the looks and the new collection!

Zara Dress/ Willow&Clo Etna Collection:

This dress is simple and perfect for the summer, the Earrings make a statement but don't over power the outfit instead complementing the embellishment on the dress. Stacking rings is really on trend and creates a uniqueness to the look.

White Zara Dress/ Willow&Clo Etna Collection:

With the right jacket and shoes this outfit could take you from the office to an evening out. The Etna Collection really enhances this outfit. Wear it with the necklace to work and then pop on the earrings just before leaving to make this outfit party ready!

Oasis Dress/ Willow&Clo Etna Collection:

This outfit is a little different to the previous two, being slightly more dressy. The pattern on the dress is complemented by the beautiful simplicity of the Etna Collection. Wear the ring on its own or stack for a cool on trend look. With the high neck dress you don't need a necklace so why not take this long necklace and wrap it around your wrist creating a unique layered bracelet!
